Flights to Greenland (from Iceland)
7 nights full board accommodation at Constable Point airport
Tangent IFMGA Mountain Ski Guide
Liverpool Land: 12 hrs private helicopter charter (8 clients)
Milne Land:  16 hrs private helicopter charter (8 clients)
Helicopter handling, landing fees and passenger taxes.
Use of satellite telephone
Technical safety/emergency equipment eg.
(tent, stove, spare food/fuel, PLB, VHF air band radio, flares, rifle, rope, climbing equipment, snow shovels, avalanche probes, avalanche transceivers)

Not Included

International flights to Keflavik, Iceland.
Hotel accommodation in Iceland
Additional helicopter charter hours @ EUR 4200 per hr.
Flying hours will half for groups of 4 clients
Out of hours airport opening fees
Excess baggage charges on flight to Greenland (above standard 20kg)
Insurance (to specifically cover heli skiing)


DAY 1 (Tue)
Depart Reykjavik airport, Iceland: 08:30
Arrive Constable Point, northeast Greenland: 11:15
Check in to airport accommodation. Lunch at airport
Pre-course clothing/equipment shake down session
Safety briefing
Avalanche transceiver and casualty search training
Assess local weather, snow and avalanche conditions for the week
All evening dinners and breakfasts provided at the airport

DAY 2 (Wed)
Snowmobile supported skiing and recce day in southern Liverpool Land

DAY 3 (Thu)
Heli skiing in southern Liverpool Land

DAY 4 (Fri)
Heli skiing in southern Liverpool Land

DAY 5 (Sat)
Snowmobile safari to local Inuit settlement of Scoresbysund
Enjoy a days snowmobiling, dog sledding or hunting amongst the southern mountains and sea ice of Scoresbysund fjord. Opportunity to visit ice bergs.
Visit local tourist shop for shopping and local Inuit souvenirs.

DAY 6 (Sun)
Snowmobile supported skiing in southern Liverpool Land
Evening slide talk

DAY 7 (Mon)

Heli skiing in northern Liverpool Land

DAY 8 (Tue)

Depart Constable Point: 12.15.
Arrive Reykjavik 16:55


i. The example itinerary allows for 3 days heli skiing, 2 days snowmobile supported skiing, and a one day option to snowmobile, dog sled, hunt or ice fish in the local settlement of Scoresbysund.

ii. An increased / decreased amount snowmobile supported skiing is available to adapt the itinerary to the preferred budget of the group.

iii. The programme is suitable for downhill skiers, ski tourers, snowboarders, split snowboarders and Telemark skiers.

iv. For private groups this itinerary is totally flexible (weather dependent) and can be adapted to your preferences.




Personal Service - all prospective clients are welcome to visit us at our home in Cumbria or Paul Walker will travel to any part of the mainland UK free of charge to meet with you and discuss the expedition in more detail and show you maps and photographs.
